Mr. Kerenyi has 28 years of Traffic Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems experience and has worked in both the private and public sector, most recently with the City of Moreno Valley where he served both as a Senior Traffic Engineer and as Acting City Traffic Engineer twice. Mr. Kerenyi has managed the planning, design, and operation of every facet of the City’s transportation system during that period, including entitlement review, plan review, and delivery of capital projects. He also managed the development and operation of the City’s Arterial Traffic Management System, including Transportation Management Center and multiple field communication upgrade projects; resulting in 90 intersections added to the system during his tenure.
