ADVANTEC staff designed the IP video surveillance system for the USDA Salinization Plant in Riverside, CA. The video surveillance system consisted of 16 Internet Protocol networkable, megapixel cameras (9 PTZ and 7 fixed) with centralized monitoring using the Lenel OnGuard video surveillance management software, integrated with the existing Access Control System. The cameras were connected to the IDF using a fiber optic infrastructure and converted to Ethernet using a media converter. The system also included a fixed camera, which transmitted over a wireless point-to-point antenna.
