The City of Anaheim has been a pioneer in implementing ITS for many years.  This project, upgrading the traffic
signal system on Imperial Highway from La Palma Avenue to Nohl Ranch Road, advanced the City of Anaheim’s objectives in promoting traffic management, reducing traffic delay, and improving traffic conditions throughout the city with ADVANTEC’s approach to help the City implement suitable ITS and traffic signal upgrades that will serve its purpose cost effectively

The purpose of this project was to bring the traffic signals along Imperial Highway from Santa Ana Canyon Avenue to Nohl Ranch Road on-line with UTCS/SCOOT, and to implement two additional CCTVs and associated fiber-optic communication along this corridor.
