ADVANTEC Consulting Engineers is pleased to announce the recent appointment of its newest staff member.

Ed Miller, P.E., T.E. – Director of Civil Engineering

Mr. Miller has more than 27 years of experience managing and designing transportation projects throughout Southern California and Arizona.  Prior to joining ADVANTEC, Ed held the position of Vice President for KFM Engineering.  His diverse consulting experiences  have included conceptual and final design of freeways, arterial highways and local roadways, traffic engineering, quiet zones, railroad track design, grade separations and expert witness testimony. His work has encompassed all stages of project development from alignment studies, Caltrans PSR/PR, fact sheets to preliminary engineering and final plans, specifications and estimates.

Mr. Miller has also been involved with assisting the California Board of Professional Engineers on subject matter and test scoring for the California TE exam.
